Upon arrival to Juan Santamaria International Airport (San Jose Airport), an airport representative will lead you to immigration area and customs. After clearing official entry procedures, our bilingual representative will be waiting outside the terminal. He/She will assist you with your luggage and transfer you to your hotel. On the way you will receive a complete orientation on the following day’s activities and travel documents. You will spend the night at EL RODEO COUNTRY INN or another similar hotel. |

Early Morning Pick up at the hotel in San Jose for the River Rafting experience, breakfast is included on the way. The Pacuare River is one of the top five rafting rivers in the world for its scenery and rapids. This quintessential tropical river is a trip of pure magic, unsurpassed beauty, wildlife and exhilarating rapids. Located on Costa Rica’s Atlantic slope, the Pacuare River borders the Talamanca mountain range, home to the native Cabecar Indians and an incredible variety of wildlife. You will spend the night at the RIVER TENT CAMP. |

The second day begins with a hot, freshly brewed cup of Costa Rica's famous coffee. After a hearty breakfast, you will have to pack your gear to continue your river descent. All of the class IV rapids are on this day. Now it’s time to truly test the skills you learned on the previous day. At the conclusion of your river descent, you will go back to San Jose. Here you will spend the night at EL RODEO COUNTRY INN or another similar hotel. |

Breakfast will be served at the hotel, followed by transportation to the Mountains of San Gerardo de Dota to Trogon Lodge. (Approximately driving time 1 ½ hours). After registration at the hotel the rest of day will be yours to explore the surroundings on your own. You may take a hike on the private trails of the property. You will spend the night at TROGON LODGE or a similar hotel. |

This is the perfect tour for those who want to feel an adrenaline rush. You’ll be in full contact with nature, have the opportunity to admire the forest and the Savegre River which offers great views. The tree platforms provide 360° views, with independent safety systems. All cables and slings meet the highest standards of quality. This canopy ride offers 12 platforms of enjoyment, four are on the tree tops, with altitudes of 20 to 25 meters (65-82 feet), and the others start on the ground. You will spend the night at TROGON LODGE or another similar hotel. |

After breakfast, morning transfer to Rafiki Safari Lodge (Approximate driving time 4 hours). Arrival to Rafiki Safari Lodge on time for lunch and then you will enjoy a free afternoon to explore the surroundings on your own or to relax in the natural pool. The night will be spent at RAFIKI SAFARI LODGE. |

The Savegre River Tour is a full day adventure, starting with a 4-wheel-drive journey that goes through the remote backcountry of the Rio Savegre. Here you will begin a four-hour guided rafting trip with class II/III/IV rapids. The pace on this trip is relaxed, with a chance to enjoy great swimming holes and the possibility to view a large variety of birds in the dense virgin jungle surrounding the river. You will stop at a beautiful waterfall for snacks. Lunch will be served at a local lodge. Night will be spent at RAFIKI SAFARI LODGE. |

After breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel for your transfer back to San Jose, visiting Manuel Antonio National Park on route. An experienced naturalist guide will take you on an informative hike through one of the most beautiful national parks where the mountains literary meet the sea and the ecosystem is teeming with land, sea and air species. This park offers two white sand beaches, a blue ocean and trails leading to great lookout points. Your guide will teach you about the park’s distinctive plant life and point out some of the resident fauna, which includes 109 mammal species – such as 3 species of monkeys, agouti, three−toed sloth – and 184 species of birds. --- Night spent at EL RODEO COUNTRY INN or similar hotel. |
